About

I’ve been obsessed with all things kid and education-related for as long as I can remember. In my spare time, I devour parenting books and read education journals for fun. I love exploring the experiences, skills and competencies that help young people become successful, well-rounded and compassionate adults.

Until recently, I was an HR executive. I studied at Duke University (Go Duke!) and earned an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. I’m a volunteer and board member for two non-profit organizations focused on foster care and child advocacy issues.

Above all else, though, I’m a wife to a very eccentric entrepreneur husband and mother to two amazing kids – a 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Our family recently relocated to Atlanta after living in Detroit, New York and Singapore and I’ve fallen in love with our new hometown!

This blog is a collection of my interests in education and child development, as well as a place to document some of the fun and (mis)adventures with my own two tiny humans.

Thanks for stopping by!
